Job Responsibilities:

Sales Activities

  • Responsible for the Southern, Sabah & Sarawak Region motor insurance sales target. (First Year Renewal, Subsequent Year Renewal, EWP, TC GAP, New Market Business, Conquest, Premium target)
  • Keep abreast with new products and services in the industry
  • Develop regional strategic sales plan that expands customer base, growth and ensure strong industry presence
  • Maximizing sales and profitability including developing and implementing sales strategies and action plans
  • Come out with new initiatives, take up new challenges and generate sales revenue from multiple income streams internally and externally
  • To set daily, weekly, monthly sales targets and consistently monitor and motivate the ground to achieve sales targets
  • Supervising and handling customers and workshops complaints and providing prompt feedback and solutions
  • Establish key relationship with stakeholders, ETCM, brokers, APC and TCEAS workshop to ensure maximum exposure and revenue growth
  • Handling all the company insurance products issues

People Management

  • Lead and manage performance of the Southern, Sabah & Sarawak Region sales team through effective recruitment, coaching and motivation
  • Manage and assist all team members in achieving their goals
  • Efficient task delegation and deadline setting to ensure optimal productivity of team members
  • To conduct Train-The Trainer training

Review and Reporting

  • Prepare periodic sales reports on sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed customer base expansion
  • Regularly conduct and review sales performance and insurance issues with all team members

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in insurance and /or relevant industry.
  • University degree in a relevant field
  • Solid motor insurance knowledge with Profit & Loss leadership on top and bottom line Excellent knowledge in innovation/transformation experience in telematics, data analysis, digitalization and partnerships
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and agile environment
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to make thoughtful decision/problem solving
