Job Summary:

The key role is to build, manage and maintain close relationships with Business Users to identify new opportunities to improve overall business processes by leveraging on IT solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain close relationships with business, acting as the IT point of contact for all the business units.
  • Liaise with the business operations heads, and responsible to capture their expectations and ensure optimum-level of support is provided.
  • Manage communications with businesses, and resolves escalated issues or questions.
  • Assist the businesses in analyzing and scoping of business IT requirements
  • To ensure the service demands from the business can be delivered successfully and timely by IT, taken into consideration the supply side of IT manpower, hardware/software resource and budget.
  • Advise users on all IT matters with an aim to improve and streamline business operation and processes and cost saving.
  • To contribute to the preparation of IT Service Level Agreement, and to get the business buy-in on the proposed SLA.
  • Prepare and present the statement of work for all IT requests, and answer to any complaints or queries on the charges. To keep abreast with the latest business partners’ strategies, in order to propose fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Assist to compile the Business Development Plan, and monitor the progress, and ensure the planned projects are executed and delivered on agreed targets.
  • Track all business development activities, analyze quarterly progress and suggest new strategies based on findings.
  • Familiarize existing business application portfolio and services, in order to carry out gap analysis.
  • Knowledgeable of the latest IT technologies, and available services, and able to present to the businesses.
  • Working closely with the relevant IT & Business Management teams to identify IT requirements of the business operation.
  • Preparing the company budget and planning on the overall company revenue and costing.
  • Coordinate some mini projects, ensuring smooth communication and planning between internal team with business users.
  • Any additional or ad-hoc task as assigned by immediate superior.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Sales & Marketing or related IT field.
  • At least 6 years or more of relevant working experience.
  • Someone who is curious to understand customer and business needs.
  • A matured personality with strong background and exposure to technology to be able to deal with senior management level staff.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail.
  • Organizes own workload, sets priorities and works within deadlines.
  • Ability to process assignments in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision, as well as able to contribute to team development.
  • People and results oriented and committed with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Someone who can work independently with minimum supervision, capable to remove obstacles, and drive implementation towards excellence delivery.
  • Someone who is structured, organized, logical thinkers, possess strong problem solving skills, and able to manage several projects and/or activities at one time.
  • Good team player and excellent at building relationships with co-workers and stakeholders.
  • Willing to take initiative, to listen, to learn and respond positively to challenges and criticism. And, could provide constructive feedback and contribution in discussion.
