Oversee all the financial operations of the company include accounting, finance, costing and reporting matters. Responsible to prepare and implement financial strategy, policies and procedures as well as financial controls.
Job Descriptions:
- To review financial reports and variance analysis report for submission and presentation to the Management in timely, accurate and complete manner.
- To lead in annual budgeting planning and preparation. Monitoring actual performance vs budgets from time to time.
- To perform detailed financial analysis and work closely with business units in identifying areas for improvement with the objective to improve financial performance.
- To identify weaknesses in internal control and ensure effective controls are in place.
- To lead, analyse and revise BOM costing with respective departments.
- To oversee the day to day accounting operations and ensure compliance to the company policies and procedures.
- To liaise with auditors, company secretary, tax consultant, legal advisor and various authorities in ensuring compliance with the relevant laws and regulations.
- To supervise and provide guidance to the team members in Finance and Admin Department.
- Support all financial initiatives to drive growth and compliance from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional accounting qualifications preferably CIMA/ACCA/MICPA and equivalent.
- 10 years of relevant experience with manufacturing experience and knowledge is preferred.
- Computer literate.
- Able to produce working plan / schedule.
- Able to work independently and under pressure.
- Excellent leadership qualities, dynamic and resourceful.
- Positive, influential, committed and result oriented.
- Interpersonal skills and multi-tasking ability.
- Ability and personality to drive and motivate the team
