Our Purpose Statement

driving resilience

The foundation of TCMH’s Sustainability Framework is built on our guiding principles of core values (“TCFIMPeD”), which encompass seven focal areas.

The Group’s 5-Year Sustainability Framework (2022 to 2026), titled “Driving Resilience”, emphasises integrating sustainable practices at every level of our organisation. We have defined and incorporated sustainability-related KPIs and targets according to the directives of the Board and Senior Management of TCMH. This ensures that all BUs are aligned in achieving the Group’s EESG goals.

Materiality Matters & Themes

Materiality Assessment

TCMH is cognisant of the fact that our material issues can directly or indirectly impact our ability to create long-term value for our stakeholders and at the same time, define our business strategy and decision making process.

Phase 1

Identification of sustainability matters

Understand the Group’s unique context, identify key stakeholders and their needs, and derive a list of significant sustainability matters

Phase 2

Prioritisation of the material sustainability matters

Engage stakeholders to prioritise sustainability matters, then disclose these prioritised matters to illusrate their relative importance

Phase 3

Review and validation of process and outcome

Subject the materiality assessment outcome to validation and approval, establish a review process, and determine the frequency for conducting the assessment

While we aim to conduct a comprehensive materiality assessment once every 3 years, we undertake an annual review of the relevance of our previously prioritised economic, environmental, social and governance impacts arising from our day-to-day activities.

A full scale materiality assessment was conducted in 2022 for both our key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that their interests and concerns were addressed in our business strategies.
