TAN CHONG GROUP BRINGS JOY TO RESIDENTS OF RUMAH WARGA EMAS NACSCOM

KUALA LUMPUR, 13 September 2023 – Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad (“TCMH”) spread happiness to Rumah Warga Emas NACSCOM (“RWEN”) as the company’s Group Corporate Communications (“GCC”) team contributed essential groceries to the welfare organisation located at PPR Semarak, Setapak.  

RWEN Setapak is a self-managed home for senior citizens set up by the National Council of Senior Citizens Organisations Malaysia (NASCOM). Run by a committee and a resident supervisor appointed by NASCOM, the home currently houses 15 residents with most of them having difficulty in walking and suffering from illnesses.

During the visit, the GCC team spent time chatting with the elderly by listening to their stories and learning about their life experiences. The visit was part of the company’s ongoing efforts to give back to the community and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

“We are happy with Tan Chong Group’s visit. The grocery supplies mean a lot to us, and we appreciate it so much,” said Mr. Ooi, the resident supervisor.
