Kuala Lumpur, 2nd December 2023 – Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad (“TCMH”) participated as one of the supporting partners for the Selangor and Federal Territory Association for The Mentally Handicapped (“SAMH”) Food and Funfair 2023, held at Methodist College, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur.

A team of 20 passionate TCMH employees volunteered in assisting with the food stall operation, organising fun games and maintaining cleanliness at the event venue to ensure an immersive and memorable experience for all attendees.

An impressive RM2,350 was collected through coupon purchases, along with RM1,850 in cash donations to sponsor various booth activities at the fair, including face painting, sand art, carnival games, the sale of soft serve ice cream, as well as magic shows by a clown. These entertaining activities not only elevated the excitement at the event, but also significantly contributed to the overall fundraising efforts.  

The fair also featured a jumble sales initiative where five large bags of clothes, books and bags were collected from TCMH employees for sale. The proceeds from the jumble sales will be utilised in supporting SAMH’s causes and making a difference in the lives of those in need.
