Small Move Towards Big Change by TCiTech
In conjunction with Tan Chong’s 60th Anniversary and as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, TCiTech, the IT Division of Tan Chong Group, brought joy to Nanthisar Home (Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Nanthisar) in Seremban, Negri Sembilan on 6 May 2017. Themed “Small Move Big Change”, this is also a team building effort by the Group’s IT Division.
Nanthisar Home houses 30 underprivileged children, five single mums and three elderly residents under the care of Ms Latha, administrator of the home. A total of 50 employees including family members and volunteers from HR and TCiTech’s supporting business units, teamed up to support the event and brighten up Nanthisar Home.
The day was filled with activities and laughter, ranging from Muay Thai demonstrations, exciting science experiments, household and living tips and fun creative games. The team also flexed their muscles by painting and cleaning the house. This effort created a lasting impression and memory for both the home and the Group.
Tan Chong Group’s TCiTech will continue to seek more of these activities in the coming years to instil “Small Move towards Big Change” into our society.
