“Foster & Advocate the Local Dance Culture” – A CSR Initiative by Tan Chong Motor Laos
Vientiane Province, September 2017 – Tan Chong Motor (Lao) Sole Co., Ltd. (“TCML”), Sole and Exclusive Distributor of Nissan vehicles and subsidiary of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd. (Malaysia); successfully organised a Tan Chong Motor Lao Dance Competition.
The event held on 2nd September at concourse level, Vientiane Centre was overwhelmed with over 200 pax crowd. TCML received a very positive participations from the local communities with groups of children averaging from 5-12 years old vying for the prize.
After three-hours of intense local dance cultural performance which gave the five-panel judge a hard time in decision; they have finally concluded the winners as follows:

In conjunction with the dance competition, TCML also held a 2-days roadshow at Vientiane Centre, showcasing a range of Nissan models such as Nissan Urvan, Nissan X-Trail and Nissan Navara with children activities and test-drive.
As Tan Chong Group (Malaysia) celebrates its Diamond Jubilee Anniversary this year with the tagline ‘60 Years & Beyond’, The Group wishes for a more sustainable development and achievable goals and therefore, is constantly seeking ways to enhance their CSR community outreach programme, as well as Nissan vehicle ownership experience.
