“DONATION TO FLOOD AFFECTED STUNG TRENG COMMUNITY” BY TAN CHONG MOTOR CAMBODIA

August 2018 – Tan Chong Motor (Cambodia) Pty. Ltd. (TCMC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd. (Malaysia), and sole and exclusive Distributor of Nissan vehicles in Cambodia hand-over donation items to Stung Treng province government and the community.

During the hand-over event, His Excellency Mom Saroeun, Stung Treng Provincial Governor received the donation items from representatives of Tan Chong Motor Cambodia which convoyed from Phnom Penh.

In his speech, Mr. Hout Kimmeng, Senior Country Head (Tan Chong Motor Cambodia), said that TCMC were really saddened by the sudden news of raising water levels in Sekong River and causing flood damages to 17 villages which have affected more than 3,000 people to be homeless.

Therefore, not only did TCMC initiate a fund donation, each TCMC Management and staffs have also personally contributed to the donated items in-kind.

TCMC which operates the Nissan 3S Centre’s and After-sales service centre ‘E-garage’, will continue to strive to enhance their CSR community outreach programme, and wishes the community of Stung Treng to stay positive and wishes the flood situation will get better soon.
