Tan Chong Launches “TC Warranty Plus” Extended Warranty Program for Nissan Owners
KUALA LUMPUR, 28 August 2017 – Tan Chong Insurance Business Stream (TCIBS), the insurance division of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad, has officially launched an extended warranty programme for NISSAN owners – TC Warranty Plus.
TC Warranty Plus programme provides a warranty extension to its regular 3-year warranty (private use vehicles only) for NISSAN owners and takes effect after the Original Manufacturer’s Warranty period of 3 years or 100,000km (whichever comes first) has lapsed.
TC Warranty Plus comes with 3 extended warranty packages;
| EW 150 Package | Additional two (2) years or 50,000km (whichever comes first), identical coverage to the Original Manufacturer’s Warranty. |
| EW 200 Package | Additional four (4) years or 100,000km (whichever comes first). The 4th and 5th year coverage is identical to the Original Manufacturer’s Warranty, while 6th and 7th year warrants three (3) components (Engine, Transmission and Steering System). |
| EW 25 Package | Additional one (1) year, 25,000km or two (2) years, 50,000km (whichever comes first), for three (3) components coverage (Engine, Transmission and Steering System), for vehicles aged less than five (5) years where the warranty has lapsed or voided. |
According to Mr Say Teck Ming, Senior General Manager of TCIBS, “Due to high demand of extended warranty programme after the launch of the 7-year unlimited mileage warranty by ETCM, this new programme offers extra coverage and give owners an added peace of mind with regards to sudden expenses when unforeseen circumstances occur.”
With every registration of the programme, customers will enjoy an Early Bird Promotion and are entitled to receive a set of Free Petrol Engine Refresh Kit, valid till 31 October 2017.
