Job Summary:

As BI Functional Consultant, you are responsible to work with the BI Technical Team and Business Users to understand and analyze requirements to design and develop BI solutions. Must have experience in designing and developing highly scalable data marts with a strong understanding of the BI and Data Warehouse operating environments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop easily maintainable, highly scalable BI solutions

• Understanding user’s requirements and recommend the appropriate data model and solution

• Ability to organize workaround possible solutions by leveraging on previous project experience in ensuring project delivery efficiency and on-time project deliverables

• Document data requirements and define report templates and dashboard specifications
• Partner with other technology teams to deliver stable, highly available back end platforms
• Provide guidance and insight on data visualization and reporting best practices
• Any additional or ad-hoc as assigned by immediate superior.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related IT field

• A minimum of 2 years working experience with one or more Business Intelligence tools like Power BI, QlikView or Tableau
• Experience in designing and building extract, transformation, and load (ETL) processes to convert operational transactional data into dimensions and fact tables
• Knowledge and experience with Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing implementation methodologies and architectures
• Ability to work under time pressure, manage multiple groups of users while maintaining a positive and patient attitude
• Strong command of the English and comfortable with process/functional documentation
• Self-motivated with attention to detail
• Organizes own workload, sets priorities and works within deadlines
• Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to process assignments in an efficient, accurate and timely manner
• Able to work with minimum supervision, as well as able to contribute to team development
• Professional certification will be an added advantage
• Experience in automotive industry an added advantage.
