OFFICIAL OPENING OF NEW NISSAN SHOWROOM IN PHNOM PENH & INTRODUCTION OF NEW URVAN
July 2018 – Tan Chong Motor (Cambodia) Pty. Ltd. (“TCMC”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd. (Malaysia), and sole and exclusive Distributor of Nissan vehicles in Cambodia officially opens another NISSAN SHOWROOM today in Phnom Penh, bringing it to a total of three Nissan Showroom in Cambodia by TCMC.
In conjunction with the official opening, TCMC similarly introduces the New Nissan Urvan – fifth generation of Nissan’s popular ‘people-transporter’ aimed more towards commercial and business use as opposed to recreational use.
In his speech, Mr. Hout Kimmeng, Senior Country Manager for Tan Chong Motor Cambodia said, “The Company’s business plan in the Kingdom of Cambodia includes expanding our network to have better coverage in the market as well as introduction of more new models. Cambodia presents a promising market growth and Management expects a gradual and steady sales growth in the next few years. With the introduction of New Nissan Urvan, which is fully imported from Japan…, symbolises the company’s optimism in the local automotive industry”.

The official opening of the second Nissan Showroom in Phnom Penh was officiated by The Management of Tan Chong Motor with the present of distinguished guests and local media. They were impressed by the newly established Nissan Showroom facility and its appointed authorised Aftersales service centre – “E-garage” which is equipped with Nissan’s advance diagnostic tools for vehicle inspection and checking.
The newly opened Nissan Showroom will have the capacity and capability to serve the increasing number of Nissan vehicles in the Capital city of Cambodia. Nissan customers can enjoy the comfortable and cosy lounge area in the showroom while serving the net and waiting for their vehicles to be serviced by well trained technicians.
Those present during the official event were impressed with New Nissan URVAN product presentation that showcases the practicality and functionality of the vehicle.
New Nissan URVAN emphasizes on passengers comfort, as individual front and rear air-conditioning vents are spread evenly to ensure everyone in the vehicle remains comfortable even during midday sun. While, the passengers High Back Reclining Seats provides maximum support and full comfort.
The New Nissan URVAN also has high roofline for ease of entering and existing vehicles as well as ample spaciousness of headroom for all passengers and generous legroom while in seating position.
