TAN CHONG GROUP CHINESE NEW YEAR OPEN HOUSE 2019

5 February, Kuala LumpurThe lion roars the drums beat the cymbals ring. Over 2,000 people comprising government officials, ambassadors, business associates, clients, bankers, analysts and the public were feted to Tan Chong Group Chinese New Year Open House 2019 on 5 February 2019.

Held at the premises of its headquarters in Jalan Ipoh, the event was graced by the Board of Directors and Senior Management of Tan Chong Group. Also present were Primary Industries Minister YB Teresa Kok, Taiwan’s Ambassador Anne Hung and other dignitaries.

The event received overwhelming response and the crowd from all walks of life thronged the open house as early as 9am. Despite the hot weather, everyone donned their best outfits and enjoyed the wide array of food offered. They were also entertained to a lion dance which was believed to bring prosperity and good luck to the business for the upcoming year. Besides enjoying the usual Chinese New Year delicacies, guests also tossed the Yee Sang, which symbolises abundance, prosperity and vigour.

The Group’s Chinese New Year Open House is organised annually to demonstrate our appreciation to our valued stakeholders for their continuous commitment and support to the Group. It is also an occasion when all races gather and celebrate together as one Malaysia and simultaneously to facilitate network with stakeholders.

The crowd enjoyed the wide array of food and delicacies offered by the host.
