TAN CHONG MOTOR LAO INTRODUCES THE NEW NISSAN NAVARA PREMIUM PLUS

September 2018 – Tan Chong Motor (Lao) Sole Co., Ltd. (“TCML”), Sole and Exclusive Distributor of Nissan vehicles and a wholly owned subsidiary of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad (Malaysia); officially introduces the New Nissan Navara PREMIUM PLUS to the public today in Vientiane International Motor Expo 2018 @ ITECC.

The latest fully-imported Nissan Navara PREMIUM PLUS is incorporated with NISSAN INTELLIGENT MOBILITY (NIM) and comes with more and better safety features such as 7 SRS Airbags to ensure you and your family is protected. Those present during the official event were impressed with the product that showcases the practicality and functionality of the vehicle.

The New Nissan Navara PREMIUM PLUS not only emphasizes on passengers safety, but also on the awareness of the surroundings environment with the latest technology of Nissan’s Intelligent Around View Monitor (‘i-AVM’).

Nissan’s Intelligent Around View Monitor uses four cameras to give the driver a 360º view of the vehicle to assist them with parking or manoeuvring around tight spots or tough terrains. The four cameras are located at the front, back and sides of the vehicle, and they feed into an image processing unit to be converted to a 360-degree view image as if you’re looking down from the top of your Nissan vehicle.

Plus, the driver gets the latest Nissan’s Advanced Drive-Assist™ Display (best-in-class ADAD) 3D TFT 5-inch colour display that allows up-to 8-info-screen selection by operating the steering switches. One of the info-screen will show the driver a Digital Speedometer, which displays a more accurate vehicle speed. This is truly a new enhancement for any pick-up.

Backed by more than 80-years of Nissan’s global pickup experience and reliability; the 2.5-litre Diesel 4 Cylinders In-Line, DOHC 16-Valve VGS Turbo Intercooler engine features a maximum power of 190PS and maximum torque of 450Nm (equivalent to 3.0L diesel). The fully-length fully boxed ladder frame design is engineered to withstand the rigours of the work site and exploitation of intense daily usage, both on and off-road.

Nissan Navara PREMIUM PLUS comes equipped with Nissan’s signature boomerang-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL) that makes the vehicle easier to be seen day or night, LED Headlamps, and Functional Roof Rails that may be used for mounting oversized items such as bicycles or lumbers securely.

The Intelligent Key (i-Key) with Push-Start Button gives the driver the quick hassle-free operation to unlock the vehicle, start the engine and drive. Passengers on board enjoy the comfortable temperature feeling and modern digital display of its Full Auto Air-Conditioning with Dual Zone Climatic Control, plus Rear Air-con vents that distribute cool air within the spacious cabin.

Nissan Navara PREMIUM PLUS features finely crafted 8-way power leather seat and 2-way power lumbar support for driver while front passenger gets a 4-way power leather seat. Both are Nissan’s signature astronaut-inspired Zero-Gravity seats. It also comes fitted with the Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror with Compass, which reduces glare for the driver on approaching vehicles while the digital compass lets the driver know the direction.

Another unique feature is the Rear Differential Locking (RDL), which gives any driver the off-road confidence and no-wheel-spin safety on different surfaces by manually locking the rear rotating wheels to work as a single unit.

Standard safety features includes Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA) and Traction Control System (TCS). The Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) system helps improve 4×4 driving performance and safety, along with Active Brake Limited Slip (ABLS), Hill Start Assist (HSA) and Hill Descent Control (HDC).
