THE NISSAN TEST-DRIVE CARNIVAL IN CAMBODIA
Phnom Penh, January 2018 – Tan Chong Motor (Cambodia) Pty. Ltd. (“TCMC”), the Sole and Exclusive Distributor of Nissan vehicles in Cambodia and a subsidiary of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd. (Malaysia) marked its many years of operation in Cambodia by holding an innovative test drive carnival event for its Nissan customers and members of the public.
Hosted at Koh Pich Island’s (behind City Hall) 7,000sqm open carpark last weekend on 27- 28 January 2018 from 9.00am-6.00pm, the objective of the Two-day Nissan Test-Drive Carnival was to demonstrate the Nissan brand’s rich heritage and diverse product range. The event was opened to the public as well as existing Nissan customers who were given a hands-on driving experience of the Nissan Navara on ramps and through challenging obstacles purposely built for the event – a first Nissan test-drive of its kind in Cambodia by TCMC.
Apart from the Navara test-drive, another display model that gives the public an opportunity to explore a host of Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies such as Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Cross Traffic Alert (CTA), LCD 8-inch touchscreen with DVD player and Rear View Camera, Intelligent Ride Control (IRC), Intelligent Trace Control (ITC), Xtronic CVT Transmission Technology, Zero Gravity Seats, EZ Flex Seating System™ (5+2 seater) and many more is the latest Nissan X-TRAIL 2018 model that was launch two months ago.
The Nissan X-Trail is one of Nissan’s most popular models, famous for its go-anywhere versatility with the addition of Nissan’s latest Intelligent Mobility technologies, making it the ideal family adventure crossover. Notwithstanding its short legacy of just 17 years, the Nissan X-Trail is the world’s best-selling Crossover with more than 3.7 million units sold since the first Nissan X-Trail was launched in year 2000.
The objective of Nissan Intelligent Mobility is to make Nissan customers feel more confident, excited and connected, while also enhancing road safety.
The response to the recently concluded Two-day Nissan Test Drive Carnival was overwhelming. The public and existing Nissan customers came along with their friends, families and children as there were many fun-filled activities such as Free Car Inspection (by E-garage), variety of Fun Games for the children, Lucky Draws, Refreshments, etc. Besides the test drive event, this initiative had also given Nissan a platform to connect with their customers.
As Nissan continues to grow in Cambodia, customer satisfaction remains the key priority. And TCMC is committed towards optimising its after-sales service operations and aims to become one of the most customer-friendly brands in Cambodia.
